Having grown up in five countries, he then moved into the international key account management of a successful online conferencing provider, where he focused in particular on integrating the software into the business processes of large corporations In 2008, Andreas Witt switched to the product management of a leading global ERP provider. Here the enthusiasm for modern, agile development models developed and he accompanied the transformation actively.
After that, he spent four years managing the Software as a Service business at one of Europe's leading telecom and hosting providers, where agile software development was also a critical success factor. In April 2015, he took over the management of the software division Human-Machine-Interface of a leading German machine tool manufacturer. In addition, in April 2016, the direction of CAD / CAM development was added, as well as the area of new digital products. In this role, he has driven the transformation to agile software development. He has introduced a new management model, based on a separation of technical and content management, and contributed significantly to the introduction and implementation of agile planning for the entire development of machine tools including hardware.
