Daniel Downing is a culturally curious change champion. Fundamentally he believes that everyone has either had - or will have - similar challenges and that we all benefit from sharing great examples across traditional silos. Working for Nordea, a large Nordic bank, he leads a team of 800 software developers across the Nordics, Poland and India, where one of his responsibilities was to increase the skills of the developers, including soft skills. In parallel, he has been part of co-creating technical standards to build and run solutions, avoiding the "not invented here" syndrome and breaking traditional silos. He has helped to roll out across 8000+ people from various backgrounds. All whilst the company itself has been undergoing a cultural transformation.
