Parker is passionate about music, sports, gaming, and all things open-source with a knack for injecting positivity into the workplace. A Wolfpack fanatic, he originally went to North Carolina State for his B.A. in International Relations w/ Criminology and graduated in 2013. He then attended The Iron Yard in Durham, NC, to learn Ruby on Rails and pursue a more practical approach to learning software development. He's worked in the DevOps space for the better part of 6 years across multiple roles, including as a customer success manager and product marketing manager at CloudBees with a focus on Jenkins - where he was involved in building and bringing multiple products to market. He now focuses on CI/CD at GitLab.
